Thomas Campbell: Overwhelming Colorfast

November 18, 2016 in Art and Design

California-based artist Thomas Campbell is exhibiting a new body of work in Mollusk's San Francisco gallery space.

To say Thomas Campbell is "exhibiting" in the gallery is a bit of a misnomer, as he is entirely consuming the space. His work will cover not just the walls but the floor and ceiling as well, creating a fully immersive experience. Visitors will be transported to Campbell's multilayered world, full of paintings, ceramic works, photography, sculptures and other surprises.

The two are a natural pair - Thomas Campbell's colorful work drawing on his life as a skater and surfer, traveling the globe while making art and Mollusk, a long-standing hub for surf culture, art, photography and general good vibes.

The exhibit runs from November 19 to December 15th, with select works available for purchase online. If you're anywhere near San Francisco, hurry over and check it out - this show is not to be missed!

Love Thomas Campbell's work but cant afford an original? I highly recommend these two books.

Never heard of Mollusk? Not in California? Be sure to snoop around their site, it's chock full of great products (even for the non-surfing folks).
